What is Lexally ?
LexallyLLP is a limited liability partnership incorporated in April 2021 during the coronavirus pandemic. Our original site is a lawyer directory website called lexally.co.uk. With it we are aiming to provide smaller and medium sized law firms a voice in the digital world. Lexally LegalTech is our second website that is aimed at providing firms, legal advisors, mediators and start-ups with invaluable technological service to increase their exposure digitally.
We had the initial idea for a directory as students when we saw the difficulties in finding legal advice or a law firm during lockdown. However, since we have invested our time into the project we have visions of a legal empire. We want to promote technology within the legal world to ultimately increase access to justice for the public.
We truly believe with our ideas and passion for the field, LexallyLLP can help the legal world evolve.
What is Lexally's mission?
The core mission of our sites is to advance the current legal world in England and Wales with technology. Be it a directory allowing for greater access to information on solicitors and a platform for solicitors to advertise themselves; or a law firm growth agency aiming to increase the digital presence of law firms one business at a time.
We understand there is reluctance from the current market players to embrace technology due to the unknown change it could have on their business; but that shouldn't be a reason to dismiss it. A technological upsurge in the law could increase the public's access to justice to an unparalleled level and embracing it now will allow us to help thousands of solicitors adapt to the changing industry.
What are the Lexally teams guiding principles?
Our primary principle is to help people first and foremost. To paraphrase Richard Susskind, the law shouldn't be there to help lawyers remain In jobs, but to help the public seek justice in their day to day lives. We believe we can do this with our plans for increasing access to justice with our directory site. We can also help lawyers in this process advance digitally and put themselves in the public’s view for greater visibility.
Additionally our focus is always on consistency. We understand that these dreams are big and we understand that the legal world always has the potential to improve. We must provide a top quality service day in day out, we also must research and inform and upgrade to provide people with an exceptional service.
Finally we aren't satisfied with satisfactory. We want the viewers of our sites and the clients of our service to be fans of ours wanting to showcase our business to their audience. The only way we can do that is if we provide 110% effort in everything the Lexally name is attached to.
